Edge Coworker

Privacy & cookies

Edge Coworker is a private, invitation-only workspace for marketing teams. This notice explains which personal data we process and why.

Last updated: 2026-07

Who is responsible?

The data controller is Edge.be NV, registered office at Oudesteenweg 87 bus 3, 2060 Antwerpen (company number BE 0459.777.624). Questions about your data or this policy? Email tom@edge.be.

What data do we process?

Identity – your name and email address, received via your Google sign-in. Usage – an activity log (who did what, when) for security and administration. Content – what you or your team create in the workspace (agents, knowledge, files). We process no special categories and never sell data.

Why and on what legal basis?

We process this data to provide and secure the workspace (performance of the agreement with your organisation and our legitimate interest in a safe, auditable service). Your access is granted by an administrator's invitation.

Signing in with Google

We use Google only to authenticate you. We request only your basic profile (name, email) and read nothing from your Gmail, Drive or contacts. We never see your Google password.

Where is your data and for how long?

Data is stored on a server within the EU (hosted by AWS (Frankfurt, Duitsland)). Google acts solely as a processor for sign-in. Account data is kept while your account is active; if your account is deleted it is removed (the concise audit log may be retained a limited time longer for security). Content versions are kept as a restore safety net and can be purged by an administrator.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. In practice your company administrator handles this in the workspace; otherwise email tom@edge.be. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies: one secure session cookie to keep you signed in and a temporary cookie during sign-in. There are no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is therefore required; these cookies are essential to run the service.
